Day to Day Life

I thought I would post a few pictures from our day to day life.  We aren't out exploring the town all the time, as much as we'd like to be.

A new printer is the excitement of the day.  It is already giving us problems. 

Karl found a fifty dollar TV, and he and Stephen have enjoyed watching football and soccer.  Chiara enjoys watching discovery kids in Spanish.

One of the highlights of Nevada Virtual Academy have been the science experiments.  Here Stephen is comparing different methods of slowing down effects of desertification.

We found this little lizard in our house.  Of course everyone wanted to keep it as a pet.

All the kids except Chiara take turns doing jobs like dishes and sweeping.  I guess Chiara feels left out that she isn't included on the job chart because she often tells me that it is her turn to do dishes or sweep.  Joseph is especially willing to let her help him, and often asks for her help when he washes dishes.

This cat was outside our door one morning, and when we opened the door, he came in.  Chiara loved him, and some of the other kids would have loved to keep him, too, but Karl and Stephen are both allergic to cats.
