We love our park! We live really close to the playground side of the park. The red car on the right side of these pictures is parked in the driveway next to ours.
In these pictures Joseph and Daniel show off how far they can jump off the swings. Stephen also enjoys jumping, but I didn't happen to catch his jumps on film.
The boys have found this tree that they love to climb. They actually climb up the fence and then just hang out in the tree.
Stephen and Karl join in a game of basketball. The guy they are playing wiht is from Slavakia! Notice how there are soccer goals below the basketball hoops so that this court doubles as a soccer field.

A little over a week ago (September 19th), a clown came to our park. There was an announcement posted by the gate, so we showed up on time and were the only ones there. But when the clown was ready to start the show, people appeared out of nowhere. The show was sponsered by the taxi company. They passed out Kool-aid type drinks to everyone, and the clown put on a fun show.
Que divertido. Espero que te gusta alla. Yo se que estoy emoccionado por mi viaje a sur america. Como son las escuelas alla? Y la gente? Son amable? O no les gustan gringos? Cuantos gringos hay alla en puebla? Mucho?
ReplyDeleteHola, Devin! Como estas? Habla Karlos :) La gente son muy, muy amables y estamos muy contentos con las amistades que vamos formando aqui en Puebla. Veo que quieren mucho a los gringos. Mis hijos son como celebres en su escuela. Les tratan muy bien con mucho carino. Por que no pases por aqui en camino a sudamerica? Las escuelas son alegres y diferentes. Tengo 9 grupos de 45 estudiantes cada uno. Son muy grandes y, como estudiantes en todas partes, no siempre quieren trabajar. . . y hay muchisimas distracciones tanto dentro del salon escolar como afuera.

Sin embargo, me da gusto que les vaya muy bien...y felicidades que hayan metido a sus hijos en las escuelas ahí. Buena decisión. Como 'mentor' estoy fielmente apoyando a Esteban, tu maestro de intercambio. Acabamos de regresar de Portland el sábado por la noche. Conocí a muchos de los maestros de intercambio de México. Cuídense mucho.
